Life Together

Community Groups

Community Groups

Community Groups are designed to teach God’s Word, equip and encourage believers to grow in their knowledge of God, and serve others. Community Groups meet each Sunday following the corporate worship service and one weekend a month for fellowship.

LifeGroups

A LifeGroup is a small gathering of people who meet regularly in homes to grow together in relationship and fellowship around the Gospel. Each group has 10-20 people including children and trained leaders.

  • LifeGroups meet to care for and serve one another as we walk through life together, sharing our joys and sorrows.
  • LifeGroups meet to fellowship around God’s Word applying God’s truth to daily living
  • LifeGroups meet to commit to building each other up in the faith, speaking the truth in love to one another.
  • LifeGroups meet to promote connecting our friends and neighbors with Christ as we invite them into the groups and pray for one another as we share Christ.

Men's Ministries

Men’s Ministries

Jesus calls men to intentionally and eagerly follow him in accomplishing His plan of redemption in all spheres of life. Our goal is for men to be a disciple and disciple-maker of Jesus Christ.

The men’s ministry teaches, equips and encourages men to grow biblically in their love for and obedience to God while connecting with other men in the church family. This happens best through consistent participation in corporate worship services and LifeGroups. Men also have the opportunity to enjoy continual growth and development in their relationship with Christ and others through book studies, group discipleship, one-on-one interaction, outings and conferences.

Women's Ministries

Women’s Ministries

Women’s ministry focuses on cultivating hearts oriented toward growth in relationship with God, His Word and others. Ladies find biblical guidance and wisdom through fellowship, spiritual encouragement, teaching and life application. We desire to connect women to God and each other through small group discussions, one-on-one Bible study, group fellowships and conferences.

Student Ministries

Student Ministries

Student ministries seek to point students to Jesus Christ through consistent Bible-teaching, example-setting, intentional discipleship and connection with others. Students will find our gatherings to be an opportunity to grow together in loving, knowing and following Jesus Christ.

    Children

From a young age, we seek to come alongside parents to influence their children for Christ. Our goal is to begin early in helping the next generation to be Christ-centered, Word-loving, gospel-minded, Spirit-dependent, doctrinally-faithful and others-focused.

Many opportunities exist throughout the year to assist parents and guardians in teaching and guiding their children to know and love Jesus Christ. See events for a current list.

    Nursery

For newborns through toddler, provides a safe, clean and well-staffed environment so parents and guardians can join the church body in church events. Available for each service.

    Preschool

For ages 3 to 5 years, provides a safe, clean and engaging learning environment. Age-appropriate activities are paired with committed teachers and helpers so children can learn the foundations and overarching theme of the Bible.

    Elementary

For grades 1st through 5th, builds on the foundations laid in the preschool learning environment. Familiarizes students with the character of God, His creation, people, Word and purpose for His world. Connects truth with choices and emphasizes gospel grace and motivation.

    Middle School

For those in grades 6th through 8th, the middle school gatherings are designed to encourage students to love God and love others.

The middle school meets on Sunday mornings at 11:00am in the youth room. In a small-group setting, each person is able to interact with a specific portion of the Bible learning not only what it means but also what it looks like in daily life.

The middle school meets once a month on Sunday evenings for a youth service that features singing, teaching, prayer and various activities. Students are challenged to know and love God together.

    Teens

For those in grades 9th through 12th, the teen gatherings are designed to encourage students to love God and love others. Each gathering provides the opportunity to teach students the Bible in an interactive setting that allows them to ask difficult questions, embrace personal faith in Jesus Christ and grow deeper through personal knowledge and application of the Word.

The teen group meets on Sundays at 11:00am in the youth room. In a small-group setting, each person is able to interact with a specific portion of the Bible learning not only what it means but also what it looks like in daily life.

The teen group meets once a month on Sunday evenings for a youth service that features singing, teaching, prayer and various activities.

    College

Designed for those of college-age, our goal is to point students to the greatness and glory of Jesus Christ through teaching, personal interaction, small group discussion, prayer and service so they may impact their family, church, community and culture for Christ.

We meet on Sundays at 11:00am. Primarily a large group gathering with opportunities to engage through discussion and personal interaction.

Additional activities include service projects in the church and community throughout the year. These aim to practice what we learn together about knowing and serving Jesus Christ.

    Partnering Globally

    Partnering Globally

The goal of global Gospel advance is to increase the worship of God and glorify Him by obeying His command to make disciples from the nations of the world. We participate eagerly in God’s mission to redeem His broken creation. The church does missions because God is on a mission.

As Christians, we engage our world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ for the glory of God the Father. Global Gospel advance is not a part of our church ministry but the hub around which ministry revolves.

We partner with Gospel organizations and individuals to press forward in proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ throughout our world. We educate and involve our church family in global Gospel work as a priority since every Christian has a significant role to play in fulfilling God’s plan to reach all nations.

The Lord has bared his holy arm
before the eyes of all the nations,
and all the ends of the earth shall see
        the salvation of our God.

    Isaiah 52:10

    Partnering Locally

    Partnering Locally

Because of our identity in Christ, we seek to direct our community to the glory of God through missional teaching, preaching, giving and involvement in ministries of compassion, community engagement, and Gospel evangelism.

Outreach activities include participation with local community partners like Miracle Hill Ministries, Greer Community Ministries and Piedmont Women’s Center. We also engage with our community through participation in neighborhood clean-up projects, event staffing and food-drives.
